2018
It’s not very often we get a chance to start over but the new year gives us an opportunity to write a new chapter. It isn’t always easy to create positive goals at the end of a draining year, especially after the Christmas festivities so thinking about what you want to achieve next year at work now means you are more likely to set realistic goals.
Setting resolutions is a personal journey so incorporate the following points into your thinking that will help you turn your resolutions into powerful goals for the new you!
A Fresh Start!
The art of delegation could be the key to getting a healthy work-life balance. If you are frazzled by juggling too many tasks, ask for help as you are a team after all.
Honesty is the best policy so don’t set yourself life-changing objectives, small and simple alterations to your daily routine can make a massive difference to your time management

Networking can reap rewards, mainly by meeting new contacts who can introduce you to new products and services as well as potential work opportunities.
Evaluate your achievements against your original timeframes. If you aren’t quite on track, change the timescales as it is better to reach your targets over a longer period than give up completely.
Willpower may not be enough on its own to accomplish your goals. Sharing your challenges for the new year with a friend or colleague will help you stay on track.
You and only you can achieve your goals so make sure they are achievable or you are setting yourself up for failure. Disappointment is not a word in the new you dictionary.
Open your mind up to new ideas and ways of doing things, it’s good to question the status quo and you may find smarter ways of working to help you leave the office on time.
Update your goals every few months. Life changes and your original resolutions might not be relevant as you go through the year, keep on challenging yourself and those around you.
